Keep Moving

Here’s a shocker…you’re going to be sore. And no amount of Epsom salt in the bath is going to fix that. It’s part of the process. We all get sore. It doesn’t mean you’re injured. There’s a difference. (More on this in a later post…) What CAN you do to help with soreness? First and foremost, be mentally prepared for it. It will happen. You will survive. Also, stretch, stretch, stretch. Not sure how to stretch what, or when? Again, ask a coach. They have firsthand experience with tight muscles and stiff joints – trust me. And keep moving. Doing recovery exercises are key when you start to require more of your body through this type of program. Go for a walk, do some yoga, get off the couch and out of the recliner. It’s not easy, but it’s worth it. An object in motion remains in motion. Keep moving.
