Back Squat – 1 rep max
Shoulder Press – 1 rep max (must be brought back to front rack position and not dropped from overhead)
Deadlift – 1 rep max
The CrossFit Total is a series of three exercises combined into a strength test for the CrossFit community. Consisting of the squat, overhead press (aka strict press) and deadlift. The CrossFit Total is designed to be more accessible then the Olympic lifts and assesses whole body functional strength. The best single attempt for each of the three lifts are added together for the CrossFit Total.
